Traps present significant hazards to pets, with high potential for injuries and fatalities. This event offers essential knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure your dog’s safety while recreating on our beautiful public lands.

Drop-In Format: Feel free to drop by anytime between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Hands-On Education: Learn about the dangers of traps, regulations in Montana, effective techniques for releasing pets from traps, and acquire crucial pet first aid skills to handle emergencies in remote areas.
Understanding the Risks: Discover the dangers traps pose to pets, and equip yourself with strategies to mitigate these risks while adventuring on Montana’s public lands.
Essential Tools: Learn about the essential tools every pet owner should carry in their first aid kit for outdoor adventures.
Goodie Bags: Attendees will receive fun goodie bags containing food samples and treats for their canine companions, along with valuable handouts on dog nutrition, and trapping in Montana.
Refreshments: Enjoy refreshments while learning and connecting with fellow pet owners and outdoor enthusiasts. Bone broth will be available for your canine friends!
