- This map shows only locations provided to MT Fish, Wildlife & Parks after a wolf has been killed in that trap or snare. It is likely that more traps/ snares are set in the vicinity of each location on this map.
- Locations are generalized. Locations are approximated by cross-referencing the MT FWP information with other mapping data sources: OnXHunt, GoogleMaps, and the MT FWP FISHMT waterbody explore tool.

AS OF FEBRUARY 11, 2022 MT FWP STOPPED PROVIDING APPROXIMATE LOCATIONS.
Since then, many more wolves have been reported killed in traps and snares.
