You can Footloose Montana help in many ways!
Donating is critical, but just one of many ways of supporting the Footloose mission!
•Footloose needs VOLUNTEERS!!! We need help updating contact lists and on-line resources, monitoring and researching on-line trapping literature, sorting comments submitted during the proposed wolf trapping comment period, and much more!!! Call (406) 282-1482 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you can donate some precious time to our work!
•Help us organize a Pet Release Workshop in your Montana community! Learn how to free your pet from crippling and potentially deadly traps. Call (406) 282-1482 if you would like to attend a scheduled clinic or talk to us about the possibility of hosting one where you live. Upcoming workshops will be posted at: http://www.footloosemontana.org/events
•We NEED Footloose Montana County Coordinators for every county in Montana!!! They help us reach out to their local communities and help facilitate communication between our headquarters in Missoula and Montanans across the state. They are critical in helping us hear the needs of everyday Montanans. If you are willing to help in this capacity, please call (406) 282-1482.
•Report trap sightings and incidents. If you see traps on public lands, let us know. We want to warn other users of that general area to exercise caution! Call (406) 282-1482.
•Send letters to the editor of your local newspaper – alert the public to the danger on our public lands. Find helpful information for your letter at http://www.footloosemontana.org/the-issue-2/ or call us with questions at (406) 282-1482.
•Send your stories of encounters with traps, trappers or trapped animals to email@example.com. •Pitch in financially. Our work educating Montanans about the dangers of trapping takes money. We’re a grassroots organization and we rely on help from supporters like you!
